Mike Stancil
Senior Pastor
Born 1971 in Birmingham Alabama Mike Stancil grew up the son of a Baptist minister. By 12 years of age he began to sense a
unique calling on his life for world missions and by age 14 had preached his first sermon. After graduating from high school Mike left his southern home
for the hill country of Missouri to attend Baptist Bible College in Springfield majoring in cross cultural studies. Criss-crossing the country singing and
preaching he met the love of his life Missy Murray, and together along with their B.B.C. ministry team they made their first trip to Taylorville. While
traveling abroad with the team Mike realized that his call to world missions was not to a foreign country but to reclaim authentic Christianity in his own
country. The Stancils spent their final semester of college traveling back and forth to Calvary in Taylorville where Mike served as part time music and
outreach minister. After two years of service Mike returned to the south where he served for the next six and a half years. In 2005 Mike and Missy returned
to Taylorville this time with two more Stancils in tow, their son Beau and daughter Paytin. Mike says returning to Calvary as Lead Pastor is the greatest
honor of his professional life and that he can think of no better place to serve God and humanity. Click here for updates on Missy.

Jeff Fry
Associate Pastor
Connecting people to God and each others through deep meaningful relationships
In 1994 Jeff moved to Taylorville and became a member at Calvary. In the fall of
2004 Jeff and his wife Trina felt Jesus calling them to be in full time ministry as a small group
pastor. In August of 2006 God opened the doors for Jeff to join the pastoral team at Calvary. After
a 14 year career at Zara’s collision center in Springfield Jeff gave up his dreams and is pursing
the life that God intended for him. Jeff and Trina along with their two children Lexus and Hunter
have developed a passion for the people in our community. One of Jeff’s goals is for people at Calvary
to unite around the life of Jesus and create a culture where people can come and truly experience love
through intentional relationships.

Dollie Brown Office Administrator
Keeping things rolling Dollie grew up at Calvary
from age 5. Most of the memorable events of her life involve the church somehow. She met God there
and experienced His saving grace at the age of nine. She met her husband, Kevin, there in the youth
group and they were married with the people of Calvary around them. During the birth of their son,
Ted, the Calvary family lovingly showered them with grace and mercy. After six years of Kevin serving
in the military and an addition to the family, daughter Jennifer, Calvary welcomed them home. Upon
returning to Taylorville Dollie started volunteering on a weekly basis with the kids at Calvary. God
prepared her for where she is today by opening the doors in the secular arena and eventually the
transition into a part time capacity as an office assistant at the church in October of 2003. God
still wasn’t finished. In the Fall of 2005, He led her to take the next step and become the full time
Office Administrator. She truly believes that this is what God has been shaping her for all these years.

Keith Knight Youth Pastor
Keith was born in 1977 in Southern
Illinois, and has pretty much been all over the state growing up.
Attending 3 different high schools was one of the catalysts in his life
identifying his passion to connect teens to a relationship in Christ.
Keith attended Union University in Jackson, Tennessee studying Youth
ministry and Communications.
His wife Jenn was born in 1978 in Taylorville, and has been attending
Calvary since she was very young. She attended Baptist Bible College in
Springfield, Missouri. She also studied Youth ministry.
After Keith finished school, he moved back to Taylorville, and met Jenn
at their place of employment. Their first date was actually a dare, and
to this day Jenn says that it was not a date! Keith knew that night that
God had brought them together, and they would marry sharing their
stories to minister to teens. Keith and Jenn also have a son , Teaghan,
who is 6, and keeps them from ever reaching complete sanity.
